• Getting Active on Venice Beach This beach sees a fair share of mainstream tourists every year. Known to nurture a rather eccentric spirit, spending a few hours on Venice Beach is a great way to do some people watching. Bordered with some great eateries and quaint shops, walking down the boulevard is also a fun activity.
• Exploring the Key Hollywood Sights in LA You are never too far away from a Hollywood celebrity while in the city. Take a stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame where you can spot some of your favorite stars immortalized in pink terrazzo and golden lettering. At the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, film buffs can also look out for famous foot and hand prints.

• Marveling at Modern Art A world-class museum, the Getty Center is known for its generous endowments across the globe. While it may not match up to the rich collections of Old World galleries, this place houses some extremely impressive works covering generations of history starting from the Renaissance. • Retail Therapy on Rodeo Drive Rodeo Drive is home to a number of boutiques of high-end designers from the world over. Whether or not you actually end up buying anything, window-shopping on this street is also a treat for the eyes.
• A Date with Mickey No trip to LA is complete without a trip to the happiest place on earth. Spend a day or two at Disneyland where you can take a stroll down Main Street USA and explore seven other lands complete with theme-based rides, eateries and other forms of entertainment. Get pictures taken with some of your favorite Disney characters or cross over to California Adventure that is home to an exciting loop-the-loop roller coaster.
