Travelers Gain Wider Choice in Nuremberg’s Winter Timetable
From the end of October, Nuremberg Airport will introduce its winter timetable, offering more than 40 nonstop destinations. The addition of Sharm El-Sheikh this season increases access to Egypt from Nuremberg Airport. At the same time, flights to the Canary Islands, Italy, and Turkey remain in service, maintaining a combination of established routes and newly added destinations for passengers.
The program emphasizes Egypt as a key winter destination. Flights will connect Nuremberg with Hurghada, Marsa Alam, and Sharm El-Sheikh, giving travelers opportunities to spend time in warmer climates. The Red Sea region provides:
- Coral reefs ideal for diving,
- Long stretches of sandy coastline,
- Resort areas combining relaxation with water activities.
“This time, our passengers can look forward to an especially extensive Egypt offer – including Sharm El-Sheikh as a new destination. Popular holiday regions such as the Canary Islands, Italy, and Turkey are also well represented."
With Hurghada seeing up to 20 weekly departures, the program offers the highest number of winter flights yet. This frequency gives passengers flexibility for shorter breaks or longer stays. Once in Hurghada, visitors can explore coastal diving spots, take boat trips along the Red Sea, or experience traditional markets that showcase local life. These choices highlight the wider variety of activities now available as a result of the expanded schedule.
Marsa Alam and Sharm El-Sheikh add further opportunities for travelers seeking varied experiences. In Marsa Alam, visitors can spend time in calm bays suitable for snorkeling, take guided tours through desert landscapes, and observe marine life in its natural environment. In Sharm El-Sheikh, travelers can visit established diving spots, take evening walks along the central promenade, and spend time on wide beaches suited to seasonal travel. Each of these destinations increases the variety of experiences available to travelers without requiring them to take long-haul flights.
Nuremberg’s extended winter schedule offers travelers greater accessibility and more varied opportunities for trips. An expanded flight schedule and the addition of new destinations give travelers more flexibility and a wider range of possibilities when planning holidays. The updated schedule provides passengers with direct connections to both well-established destinations and newly added routes, allowing them to plan their winter travel with greater ease across a range of interests and preferences.
