Norwegian’s 50% Cruise Sale Ends Before Black Friday
Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a Black Friday promotion advertising 50% off cruises across its fleet, but bookings close on 11 November, well before Black Friday itself. The deal covers currently available sailings, including ships debuting in 2027 and 2028. There is no single advertised starting fare, and the headline discount does not mean every part of a holiday costs half as much.
Alongside the fare reduction, NCL is promoting Free at Sea benefits covering drinks, speciality dining, Wi-Fi and shore excursion credits. Selected sailings also qualify for prepaid service charges or up to $1,000 off certain cabins. Neither extra is automatic across every itinerary. The sale covers nearly 350 destinations, including European ports, Alaska and the Caribbean, but packages and cabin availability vary.
Norwegian’s Black Friday Discounts and Booking Rules
- Book: 5–11 November 2026, ending 23:59 EST.
- Discount: 50% off advertised cruise fares; prices vary.
- Sailings: All currently on sale, except charters and inaugural voyages.
- Cabins: All categories, including guarantee cabins; new bookings.
- Free at Sea: Selected drinks, dining, Wi-Fi and excursion benefits; additional charges possible.
- Minimum fare: No universal starting price published.
- Refunds: Cancellation penalties depend on booking terms and departure date.
Check the extras rather than assuming Free at Sea is entirely free. On applicable US bookings, NCL lists beverage-package gratuities of $28.50 per adult per day; its Wi-Fi allowance is 150 minutes per guest, not unlimited streaming. The $50 shore-excursion credit goes only to the first guest at each port. Flights, transfers and purchases beyond package allowances can push up the total.
The cheapest-looking cabin may not be the best deal once service charges, optional packages and flights to the port are added. NCL says comparison prices may not reflect previous sales and can change with demand. UK cancellation terms also matter: more than 60 days before departure, passengers generally lose their deposit; seven days or fewer can mean losing the full fare. Compare total costs before paying.
