Madrid Gets Its First Nobu Hotel
Nobu Hotel Madrid will open for stays from 1 September 2026, adding a 50-room luxury hotel to the Spanish capital ahead of the city’s Formula 1 weekend. Reservations are already open, with rates currently starting from €660. Bookings made before 30 September include breakfast and a €100 credit for dining and drinks.
What Changes for Madrid Stays
Nobu Hotel Madrid will include:
- 50 rooms and suites
- 10 accommodation categories
- Three-storey Nobu Restaurant
- Dishes by chef Nobu Matsuhisa
- Eight-seat sushi bar
- Nobu Rooftop
- Wellness area
- Technogym fitness centre
The property will open in Las Cortes, between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol, with reservations available through Nobu Hotels.
“The opening of Nobu Hotel Madrid marks a significant milestone for Nobu globally, and especially in Spain, joining our portfolio of properties in San Sebastián, Barcelona, Marbella and Ibiza."
The restaurant is the main addition for visitors who plan trips around food as much as location. It will be Nobu’s first restaurant in Madrid, with a lounge on the ground floor, a dining room and show kitchen above, and a small sushi bar on the third level. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signatures will include black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura and yellowtail sashimi.
The Las Cortes address puts guests close to Kilometre Zero, the Charles III statue, Puerta del Sol and Madrid’s museum area. It should suit couples, food-focused trips, luxury city breaks and Formula 1 visitors wanting a central base. Shops, galleries, restaurants and main transport links will be within easier reach than at hotels outside the historic centre.
Nobu’s Madrid opening gives travellers another central luxury option, but the useful details are the small room count, the Las Cortes location and the restaurant access during a busy September launch. Prices start high, so anyone booking should check the room category, dining credit rules and restaurant availability before treating the offer as a complete package.
