Ljubljana Gets Another London Flight This Autumn
easyJet will add a new direct service between Ljubljana and London Luton on 26 October 2026, giving Slovenia’s capital another link with the UK. The route will run three times a week, with flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. One-way fares are listed by the airline, with prices starting at €40.99.
The new connection will give passengers access to one of easyJet’s main UK bases and add another option for city breaks, business trips and visits between Slovenia and Britain. Tickets are already available through the airline’s website and mobile app. The launch also strengthens Ljubljana Airport’s winter offer after a busy year of network additions.
London Luton will become easyJet’s fourth UK route linked with Ljubljana. The airline already serves London Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh, giving Slovenian passengers a broader choice of UK airports. The new service also gives UK visitors another direct way to reach Ljubljana, a city known for its compact centre, riverside cafés and green spaces.
The route could make short trips to Slovenia easier, especially for visitors planning Ljubljana Castle, the old town, Lake Bled or the Julian Alps. Luton’s rail and road links also keep London, Bedfordshire and nearby towns within reach for Slovenian travellers. With flights spread across three weekdays, the schedule works for both long weekends and midweek business travel.
Ljubljana Airport is heading into a strong summer season, with 24 airlines and 30 direct routes expected. New and returning services, including Wizz Air to Podgorica, flydubai’s Dubai flights and Lufthansa’s Munich route, show wider demand for Slovenia. The Luton link adds another practical piece to that growth: more choice, simpler planning and fewer awkward connections.
