Linz Airport Sets Out Summer 2026 Routes
Linz Airport has outlined its summer 2026 programme with a mix of charter flights, low-cost services and organised travel packages. The schedule includes well-known holiday destinations in Greece, Spain, Croatia, Turkey and Egypt, alongside regular Ryanair routes and a new connection to Frankfurt. The programme combines beach holidays with city breaks and guided tours, giving travellers more direct options from Upper Austria during the warmer months.
Summer charter destinations from Linz
The charter schedule includes the following routes:
- Greece: Rhodes (Mon, Fri), Kos (Sun), Crete/Heraklion (Wed, Fri, Sun), Kefalonia (Thu), Skiathos (Fri), Lefkada/Epirus via Preveza (Sat)
- Croatia: Brac (Sat)
- Spain: Mallorca (Wed, Sun), Alicante (Mon, Fri)
- Turkey: Antalya (Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat)
- Egypt: Hurghada (Wed, Sat)
Ryanair will also operate flights to Bari and London twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
Greek islands again make up a large part of the programme. Rhodes, Kos and Crete return as regular summer destinations, while Kefalonia remains on the schedule for a fourth consecutive year. Skiathos will also receive weekly flights. Lefkada and the Epirus region can be reached through Preveza Airport, offering access to both island landscapes and northern Greece’s mainland coast.
A separate development is the launch of a daily Linz–Frankfurt service by Danish airline DAT from 29 March. The route will use a 72-seat ATR72 aircraft based in Linz and restores a direct link to one of Europe’s largest aviation hubs. Alongside scheduled flights, several organised tours will also depart from Linz to destinations such as Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Barcelona, Menorca, Lamezia Terme and Tirana.
The expanded programme opens access to a wide range of destinations across southern Europe and beyond. Bari serves as a gateway to the Apulia region of Italy, while Skiathos offers easy ferry connections to nearby islands in the Sporades. With daily flights to Frankfurt and a mix of holiday routes, Linz continues to function as a practical regional departure point for both leisure trips and onward travel.
