Iberia has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Food Service by a Carrier for Europe 2024’ at the PAX International Awards. The ceremony took place in Hamburg during the Aircraft Interiors Expo and the World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo. Melanie Berry, Iberia's Director of Customer Experience, accepted the award on behalf of the airline.

This prestigious award highlights the high quality of Iberia's inflight food service, which has been praised for its use of premium products and representation of Spanish gastronomy. The airline's menus, prepared by DO&CO, are known for incorporating local and seasonal ingredients, offering passengers a taste of Spanish cuisine.

The PAX International Awards, organized by the trade magazine PAX International, recognize excellence in the aviation industry across several categories. Iberia's win in the food service category underscores its commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for passengers.

Since 2020, DO&CO has been Iberia's catering provider, contributing to the airline's enhanced gastronomic offerings. The collaboration focuses on Spanish culinary traditions, with menus that are refreshed monthly to ensure variety and quality.

On domestic and European flights, Iberia offers a range of meal options for Business and Economy passengers. Long-haul flights feature set menus in Business class and a choice of main dishes in Economy and Premium Economy, along with snacks and beverages available throughout the flight.

Iberia's recognition at the PAX International Awards reflects its dedication to high-quality food service and its role in promoting Spanish culture through its culinary offerings.
