Hilton is set to debut its first LXR Hotels & Resorts location in France with the opening of Sax Paris in June 2025. Situated in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, the hotel occupies a restored neo-Gothic building that was originally built in 1899 as a telephone exchange. The property features 118 rooms and offers a rooftop terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower, marking the arrival of the LXR brand in a central and historically rich area of Paris, while also enhancing Hilton’s luxury footprint across Europe.

Developed by Compagnie de Phalsbourg, the hotel combines historic architecture with contemporary design. Among the hotel’s perks are a wellness zone, a plunge pool, and art-inspired interiors created by Karine Journo. Works by artist Arik Levy and a mural by street artist Sto are part of the permanent collection. With nearby metro stations Sèvres-Lecourbe and Duroc, Sax Paris is set to serve both international visitors and locals seeking comfortable accommodation in the city center.

The location offers immediate access to several iconic Parisian landmarks. Within walking distance is the Eiffel Tower, allowing guests to visit early in the morning or in the evening without long commutes. Just a short walk away, the Musée Rodin is recognized for its distinguished sculpture gardens and collections by Auguste Rodin. Another close attraction is Hôtel des Invalides, where visitors can see Napoleon’s tomb and explore the military museum dedicated to French history.

The hotel’s close to a bunch of cultural and historic spots, so it’s perfect for guests who want to explore the city by foot. The Musée d’Orsay, renowned for its outstanding Impressionist collection, is accessible within a 15-minute journey. The Jardin du Luxembourg provides a calm green retreat, while the nearby historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district is known for its classic cafes and rich literary history, drawing both tourists and locals.

This new hotel is part of a bigger shift, with upscale places moving away from the capital’s most crowded spots. The hotel’s position near major but less crowded neighborhoods aligns with initiatives to spread out tourism and ease urban congestion. For travelers seeking both cultural immersion and logistical convenience, Sax Paris represents a timely addition to the Parisian hotel landscape.
