China Eastern Airlines will close its ticket office in Fuzhou at the end of 2025 as part of changes to its business operations. The marketing and sales office, operated by the airline’s Xiamen branch, will cease activity on 31 December. The carrier has confirmed that the decision affects only the physical ticketing location, while flight services and existing sales channels remain unchanged for passengers in the region.

According to the airline, customers will continue to access bookings and related services through the same sales channels they already use. These include authorised agents as well as China Eastern’s official website, mobile application, and customer service hotline 95530. The airline has advised passengers to rely on these platforms for ticket purchases, changes, and general travel enquiries once the Fuzhou office closes.

China Eastern has also pointed travellers towards its official website for up-to-date information on service locations and support options. Details about the airline’s wider service network are published under the booking guidance and global service outlets sections of the site. This is intended to help passengers identify available points of contact following the closure of the local ticket office in Fuzhou.

The change may slightly alter how travellers in Fuzhou plan their trips, particularly those who previously relied on in-person support. Digital channels make it easier to manage bookings ahead of time, while call centre access remains available for more complex requests. With online tools covering most standard services, travellers can organise flights while focusing more on destination planning rather than administrative steps.

Many airlines now handle ticket sales and customer support without relying on local sales offices. In this situation, passengers are directed to use the airline’s official website, mobile app, or call centre when they need information or assistance. Although the ticket office in Fuzhou is closing, flight schedules, bookings, and after-sales services remain available through the same channels that have been in use before.
