Jet2 Opens Summer 2028 Holidays With £60 Deposits
Jet2 has opened bookings for summer 2028, giving UK holidaymakers the chance to reserve flights and package holidays well in advance. The programme covers 64 destinations across Europe and North Africa, with departures from all 14 of its UK airports. Package holidays can be secured with a £60 per person deposit, allowing customers to spread payments rather than paying the full amount when booking.
More than 20.9 million seats are on sale across 533 routes, with over 1,800 weekly departures planned during peak periods. Two new services have also been announced, connecting Belfast International with Bourgas in Bulgaria and Bristol with Enfidha in Tunisia. The programme runs across the holiday season, including Easter and October half-term. Jet2 has not advertised a single minimum fare for the entire programme.
Summer 2028 Booking Conditions
- New flights: Belfast–Bourgas on Wednesdays; Bristol–Enfidha on Tuesdays.
- Deposit: £60 per adult or child; no infant deposit.
- Payments: Interest-free monthly instalments; balance due 10 weeks before departure.
- Packages include: Flights, accommodation, transfers, ATOL protection and 22kg hold luggage.
- Cabin baggage: 10kg included.
- Cancellation: Loss of deposit 70+ days before departure; higher charges thereafter.
- Discount: No general percentage reduction announced.
Families can look for Jet2holidays' Free Child Place offers, available on selected hotels, room types and departure dates. Free Child Places usually require two paying adults, and a deposit is still needed for the child. Those booking flights without a Jet2holidays package must pay extra for checked luggage. A package may work out cheaper for families needing baggage and airport transfers, while couples planning a short break might spend less by booking flights and a hotel separately.
Booking now gives holidaymakers plenty of time to pay off their trip, but cancelling later could prove costly. Jet2holidays keeps the deposit if a booking is cancelled more than 70 days before departure, with higher charges closer to the travel date.
