Berlin to Toronto Flights Return with Earlier Start
Air Transat has resumed its non-stop service between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Toronto, bringing the route back earlier than last year. The Canadian airline is now operating flights with immediate effect, increasing frequency during the season. Services are scheduled up to three times a week, with departures on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, offering more regular options for travel between Germany and Canada.
The seasonal route will run until 23 October, with an additional weekly flight added for peak demand. Air Transat is using Airbus A321LR aircraft on the route. The service links Berlin directly with Toronto Pearson Airport, one of Canada’s busiest hubs, where passengers can continue their journeys across North America.
At Toronto Pearson, onward travel is supported through a codeshare agreement with Porter Airlines, allowing connections to other cities in Canada and the United States. This makes the route more than a point-to-point service, giving travellers broader access beyond Toronto. The flight takes around eight hours and 50 minutes, with a shorter return time due to routing and winds.
