AZAL Launches Budget-Friendly Flights to Bucharest and Sofia

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), the national carrier, has introduced new budget-friendly flights to Bucharest and Sofia, starting at €99 for one-way tickets. Round-trip tickets are available from €169. This promotional offer is valid for tickets purchased between May 23 and June 5, for travel from June 3 to October 25, 2024, excluding peak periods.

Starting June 3, AZAL will operate flights from Baku to Bucharest twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Flights to Sofia will begin on June 7, also twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. This expansion aims to enhance travel options between Azerbaijan and these European capitals.

Passengers on these routes can bring hand luggage weighing up to 10 kg. The new routes are part of AZAL's efforts to increase connectivity between Baku and key destinations in Europe, providing more options for both business and leisure travelers.

Tickets can be purchased through the official AZAL website or the airline's mobile app. This new service is expected to strengthen tourism and business ties, reflecting Azerbaijan's growing presence in the international aviation market.
