The United States is in the lead: 15 most profitable cities in the world through Airbnb

Apps such as Airbnb have given travellers the opportunity not only to find accommodation quickly, but also to feel part of the community. Travellers have to travel a longer distance than if they just checked into a hotel and never left.
The following tactic has become popular: people rent accommodation for a long time and post it on Airbnb. Insider Monkey has published a list of cities around the world that have become the most profitable thanks to Airbnb.
Provided that all parties to the transaction are satisfied with the sublease, savvy tenants can easily make money. And tourists get a wide range of cosy accommodation instead of empty hotel rooms.
To compile the list of the most profitable Airbnb cities in the world, experts first identified more than sixty cities that are popular on many online sources for Airbnb investments. Then they calculated the approximate average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in each of them.
The top 25 Airbnb cities were then selected. The approximate average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in each city was then determined. Finally, the number of years it would take to recoup the average apartment price was determined, and the cities with the lowest rates were selected as the most profitable Airbnb cities in the world.
