Katowice International Airport will introduce its summer 2026 flight schedule on 29 March, offering 128 regular and charter routes to 102 airports across 33 countries. The timetable will remain in place until the last Saturday of October. The expanded programme reflects continued growth in both scheduled flights and holiday connections, strengthening the airport’s role as a major departure point for international travel in southern Poland.

A total of 18 new routes will be added by airlines including Wizz Air and Ryanair. Among the new destinations are Brindisi, Faro, Brasov, Malaga and Tirana, alongside additional links such as Maastricht-Aachen, Varna, Rijeka and Dubrovnik. Corendon will also launch a new service to Heraklion. The additions increase the range of destinations across southern Europe, the Balkans and parts of western Europe.

Examples of new and expanded routes:

  • Brindisi, Faro, Brasov and Maastricht-Aachen
  • Malaga, Tirana and Aarhus
  • Dubrovnik, Rijeka and Rimini
  • Varna, Ohrid and Comiso
  • Charter additions: Constanta and Volos

In total, the summer programme includes 65 scheduled routes to 24 countries and 63 charter destinations in 19 countries. Italy, Spain, Greece and Croatia remain among the most frequently served markets, while connections also cover destinations in Portugal, Cyprus, Norway, Iceland and Georgia. Charter flights continue to play an important role, with a wide choice of holiday destinations across Europe, North Africa and island regions.

More routes make it simpler to reach coastal cities, islands and smaller airports that usually have fewer direct flights. New links such as Brasov in Romania or Volos in Greece add alternatives for travellers interested in quieter destinations, while expanded Mediterranean routes offer more flexibility when planning summer trips focused on beaches, cultural sites or short breaks.

The new timetable confirms the strong focus on charter flights while keeping many regular connections available. A higher number of routes helps when comparing departure times or choosing destinations that suit specific travel dates. Having more options across different countries also allows combining city stays with seaside destinations within the same journey, depending on personal travel plans and preferences.
