TAP Launches €49 Return Sale Across 90+ Destinations

TAP Air Portugal has opened a limited-time fare sale covering more than 90 destinations, with return tickets available across Europe, Africa and the Americas through spring 2027. The campaign runs until 17 September and covers Economy, Economy Prime and Business fares on TAP-operated flights. Promotional prices depend on seat and fare availability, so the lowest advertised fare will not appear on every date or destination.
The cheapest returns start within Portugal, while the sale also covers Morocco, wider Africa, Canada, the United States, Venezuela and Brazil. TAP is running a separate promotion on travel extras at the same time, with discounts of up to 25% on selected services. That offer has a shorter travel window and excludes the Christmas and New Year period, unlike the main flight promotion.

The sale is most useful for travellers who can move their dates. A €49 or €59 return may appear only on selected departures, so searching several nearby dates can produce very different prices. Longer trips also need a closer look at the itinerary, particularly when a connection in Lisbon is involved, as the cheapest option may come with a longer journey than another fare on the same route.
The cheapest ticket is not always the cheapest trip once baggage, seat selection or other extras are added. TAP’s discounted add-ons can reduce some of those costs, but they have different travel dates from the main fare sale. Compare the final return price, connection time and change or refund conditions before choosing the fare that works best for the whole trip.
