Jet2.com Unveils Extensive Winter Sun Flight Program from London Stansted
Jet2.com has announced its most comprehensive winter sun schedule to date, set to commence from London Stansted Airport for the 2025/2026 season. The airline will offer flights to 14 popular destinations across Europe and North Africa, catering to travelers seeking warm weather escapes during the colder months.
Holidaymakers can now book flights to a range of sunny locations, including the Canary Islands, various Spanish cities, Majorca, Portugal, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus, and Morocco. These destinations are renowned for their favorable climates, making them ideal for those wishing to avoid winter's chill.
To meet the anticipated demand, Jet2.com has increased its capacity on several routes. This expansion includes additional flights to Antalya, Faro, Madeira, Gran Canaria, and Palma. During peak travel periods, the airline plans to operate over 55 flights per week from Stansted, providing ample travel options.
This development underscores Jet2.com's commitment to offering diverse travel choices during winter, ensuring passengers can easily access sunny getaways from London Stansted.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, expressed excitement about the new program, highlighting the early launch as an opportunity for travelers to secure their winter vacations and manage costs effectively. He anticipates high demand due to the growing desire to escape the UK's cold and rainy winters.
Ciaran Brannigan, London Stansted’s Commercial Director, welcomed the additional winter capacity, predicting the routes will be very popular among travelers from London and the East of England.
