Holland America announces new 132-day world cruise
The American cruise line Holland America Line is going to organize a large-scale cruise in 2026. The ambitious route should last 132 days and visit 7 continents.
It is noted that the Volendam ship will depart on January 4, 2026 from the port of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This was reported by Travel + Leisure.
It is said that during its route, the Volendam ship, designed for 1432 passengers, will visit 47 ports in 39 countries. The Volendam is to stop at Easter Island, dock off the coast of Australia, head to Southeast Asia, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Northern Europe. In addition, the cruise will sail past Antarctica without stops, so travellers will be able to see the snow-covered continent from the ship.
"We asked thousands of our guests and travel advisors for their opinions on the perfect Great Round the World, so this may be one of the most thoroughly researched itineraries for world cruises," said Gustavo Antorcha, president of Holland America.
Earlier, TravelWise reported that Miray Cruises once announced its intention to make a 3-year cruise that did not happened after all.
