LaplandUK has confirmed when tickets for its 2026 Christmas experience will be released, giving families a clear date to prepare. Sales will open on 27 March at 10am through the official ticket platform. Demand is expected to be intense again this year. In previous seasons, the festive attraction sold out within hours as families rushed online to secure places at one of the UK’s most popular Christmas events.

The seasonal attraction will run between 7 November and 24 December, with ticket prices ranging from £60 to £195 depending on the date and package chosen. Visitors will once again be able to choose between two locations: Ascot in Berkshire and Manchester. Before tickets are released, guests can enter a virtual waiting room at 9am, where they will later receive a randomly assigned place in the online queue.

“This year will be our 25th visit. The adrenaline of getting tickets to LaplandUK is literally like trying to get tickets to Glastonbury or Adele."
Kerrie Thomas from South Wales

What visitors can expect during the LaplandUK experience

  • Snow-covered forest scenes and themed pathways
  • A frozen pond for skating
  • The Lapland Toy Factory with Elf-led activities
  • A visit with Father Christmas and a gift

Families move through a series of themed settings, meeting characters and taking part in activities designed to recreate a festive village atmosphere inspired by Father Christmas traditions.

The experience has grown significantly in recent years, including the newer Manchester attraction, which returned for a second season after a £30 million investment. Visitors explore decorated woodland areas, bakery scenes and performance spaces while moving through the story-led event. With two venues operating during the Christmas season, families across different parts of the UK have more opportunities to visit.

Tickets usually sell out very quickly, so many families prepare well in advance and join the online queue as soon as sales begin. When tickets were released last year, hundreds of thousands of people were already waiting online before the sale opened. Anyone planning a visit during the Christmas season will likely need to secure a date soon after tickets become available.
