easyJet Adds Luton Flights as Berlin Returns to Ljubljana

easyJet has launched flights between Ljubljana and London Luton, giving visitors to Slovenia another way to travel from the UK. The airline is also bringing back non-stop flights between Ljubljana and Berlin next spring, restoring a link absent since the pandemic. The new London service adds to existing routes to Gatwick, Manchester and seasonal Edinburgh, but its weekly frequency varies during winter.

Friday evening arrivals need a closer look at onward transport. On the last weekday Luton Airport Express leaves Parkway at 23:25, so passport control, baggage collection and the DART transfer can make that connection tight. Thameslink trains run through the night towards central London, offering an alternative if the express has finished. Compare actual train departures with your arrival time before paying for a non-refundable rail ticket.
The London link gives British visitors another starting point for Ljubljana's riverside old town and day trips to Lake Bled. Public buses from Ljubljana Airport reach the central bus station in roughly 30–55 minutes, with single tickets listed at €4. Berlin's return also puts Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate within a non-stop flight of Slovenia; the FEX train reaches Berlin Central Station in around 23 minutes.
Luton is not a central London airport, so factor in the onward rail fare when comparing it with easyJet's existing Gatwick route. Choose 'Luton Airport', not 'Luton Airport Parkway', for a train ticket including the DART; otherwise that short transfer costs £4.90 separately. Slovenian passport holders generally need a UK electronic travel authorisation, and easyJet's basic fare covers only a 45 × 36 × 20cm under-seat bag.
