Bremen Gets a Turkish Aegean Shortcut
SunExpress is opening a direct link between Bremen and Izmir, giving travellers in north-west Germany a simpler route to Turkey’s Aegean coast. The service connects the city with a coastal metropolis known as a gateway to family holidays, seaside villages and relaxed stays around beaches, olive groves, vineyards and clear blue water, without requiring a change through another airport for summer travel.

Tickets are already on sale, so accommodation and annual leave can be planned around the new Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departures.
The route makes Izmir and the wider Aegean coast easier for Bremen-based travellers to build into a short break. The city offers Kemeraltı Bazaar, Konak Square and the waterfront Kordon, while nearby trips can include Çeşme, Alaçatı, Ephesus or Şirince. That gives the service more range than a resort-only flight, especially for travellers who want beaches with a few cultural stops.
With three weekly departures, the Bremen–Izmir route works for more than a fixed Saturday-to-Saturday holiday.
