The blogger from Welwyn Garden City, England, combined his two favorite hobbies to become famous and make money. His passion for movies and traveling allowed Thomas Duke to create a unique page where he shows locations from famous movies and TV series.
The Englishman shares his adventures on his Instagram page Stepping Through Film, which already has more than 400 thousand followers. The Mirror told about his interesting and profitable activity.
Thomas spends most of his life looking for locations where scenes of cult movies were filmed. Sometimes he has to collect information piece by piece and search for the right place for a long time.
Then the blogger takes out a photo with a screenshot of the selected scene and applies it to the landscape like a missing puzzle.
"It's surreal and wonderful to be where the action is. We have all seen some of the movies. It's a strange feeling to be where a piece of history was born. I've always loved movies, and I've been watching and visiting movie locations for a long time. It was my life," the traveler told the Mirror.
He showed us where "Friends", "Twilight", "The Diary of a Witcher," "The Hunger Games", "Harry Potter", "Wednesday", and many other legendary movies and TV series were filmed.
The blogger is mostly looking for locations in London and the UK, but his collection also includes posts made in Europe and the US. They evoke a sense of nostalgia among his followers and receive tens of thousands to millions of likes.
To find places that are iconic for cinema, the Englishman turns to the fandom of a particular film for help, where enthusiasts collect locations from any fragments that are in the frame.
Those who want to repeat the blogger's route can do so using Virgin Media's mapping tool, the publication writes.
