Top 10 best cuisines in the world: where you can eat deliciously
The TasteAtlas culinary guide has published a list of the world's best cuisines. Italian cuisine claims the first position, followed by Japanese and Greek.
The rating was compiled based on food ratings recorded by the platform, as reported by News Bytes.
Evaluation of dishes
TasteAtlas showed that 395,205 dishes (271,819 valid) and 115,660 food products (80,863 valid) were registered during the year.
"Based on these ratings, the top 50 foods for each cuisine were identified, and the world's best-rated cuisines were ranked according to the average ratings of each country's best-rated dishes and foods," the website says.
Top 10 Best Cuisines
Italian cuisine leads the ranking with a rating of 4.65, followed by Japanese cuisine, also with a rating of 4.65.
Greek cuisine holds the third position with a score of 4.64, and Portuguese cuisine is ranked fourth with a score of 4.61. Chinese cuisine ranks fifth with a rating of 4.59.
The next five include Indonesian, Mexican, French, Spanish and Peruvian cuisines.
