Cape Town, South Africa, claimed the second position on Time Out's list, with every participant describing it as "beautiful."
The city boasts a lively cultural scene, featuring galleries, studios, and community events, including the Cape Town Art Fair.

According to Grace Bird, Time Out's travel editor, all the cities on the list share "a strong community spirit and an undeniable vibe."
The top 20 cities offer diverse experiences, from the bustling city life of New York to the breathtaking natural beauty and dynamic culture of Cape Town.
These cities continue to attract both visitors and residents, providing unique opportunities for exploration and enjoyment.
Other Top Cities on the List
The remaining cities in the top five include Berlin (third), London (fourth), and Madrid (fifth).
Smaller cities within the top 10 include Liverpool (seventh) and Porto (tenth), with the latter being recognized as a great city for "romance" by survey respondents.
Time Out acknowledged Berlin for its nightlife, London for its "legendary" pubs and free museums, and Madrid for its "exceptional" food.
