Six Senses Plans Five New Hotels for 2027
Six Senses is preparing to open five hotels next year. Among them are a former royal residence near Madrid, a hotel in Milan's Brera district and a resort in the Loire Valley. The other two projects are in Tel Aviv and Saudi Arabia. Each property will have its own facilities, with some focusing on city stays and others offering more space for outdoor activities. Opening dates and room rates have not yet been confirmed.
Where the Five Hotels Will Open
- Milan, Italy: Early 2027; 68 rooms, including 15 suites, in Brera.
- Quexigal Palace, Spain: Early 2027; 60 rooms, including 14 suites, and a five-bedroom villa near Madrid.
- Tel Aviv, Israel: Early 2027; 140 rooms and 55 residences.
- Loire Valley, France: Q3 2027; 88 suites and villas, around 90 minutes south of Paris.
- Wadi Safar, Saudi Arabia: Q4 2027; 80 rooms.
The properties will offer different facilities and settings. Milan's hotel will have a rooftop pool and spa, while Quexigal Palace will occupy a restored 16th-century royal estate with private gardens. Tel Aviv will combine five historic buildings with a modern tower and rooftop facilities. The Loire Valley resort will feature golf, cycling and equestrian activities, while Wadi Safar will occupy a secluded site near Riyadh.
The locations also offer access to nearby attractions. Six Senses Milan will sit opposite the Pinacoteca di Brera, within walking distance of the Duomo. Quexigal Palace is around 50 minutes from Madrid, making it suitable for a countryside break alongside a city visit. In France, the Loire Valley property in Saint-Laurent-Nouan provides a base for exploring historic châteaux, vineyards and cycling routes.
The openings will mainly appeal to guests seeking luxury accommodation, although location may be a deciding factor. Milan and Tel Aviv offer city-centre access, while the other properties are better suited to countryside or resort stays. As exact opening dates, rates and booking conditions remain unconfirmed, travellers should monitor the official Six Senses website before arranging flights or other non-refundable travel.
