Ryanair Increases Malta Winter Flights with New European Destinations
Ryanair has revealed its Winter 2025 (W25) schedule from Malta, including 57 routes, six of which are new: Glasgow, Gothenburg, Luxembourg, Norwich, Newcastle, and Palma. The airline will also raise frequencies on 20 existing connections, such as Milan, Porto, Bucharest, and London. To support the expanded schedule, a ninth Boeing 737 "Gamechanger" aircraft will be based in Malta from November, creating 30 additional jobs for pilots and cabin crew at Malta International Airport.
The flights will operate from November 2025 with multiple departures each week on all routes. The main points are:
- More frequent flights on popular connections including Milan, Porto, Bucharest, and London, providing daily or near-daily options.
- Departure and arrival times scheduled for both business and leisure needs.
- Morning and evening flights designed to increase travel flexibility across Europe from Malta.

The new connections provide access to several European attractions. Travelers to Palma can explore the Drach Caves, relax on the beaches of Es Trenc, or walk around Palma Cathedral Square. Those flying to Gothenburg can enjoy Liseberg Amusement Park, the Southern Archipelago, or Slottsskogen Park. Trips to Luxembourg offer the opportunity to see the Casemates du Bock, stroll the Grand Ducal Palace gardens, and take in views from the Chemin de la Corniche.
Expanded flight frequencies improve accessibility and convenience. Milan-bound passengers can visit Piazza del Duomo, the Navigli district, or CityLife architecture. In Porto, visitors can walk across the Dom Luís I Bridge, explore the Ribeira waterfront, or sample wines at Vila Nova de Gaia. Flights to London offer more convenient access to Hyde Park, the South Bank, and Camden Market. The updated timetable provides improved planning opportunities, less waiting, and more travel choices for all types of trips.
