Qatar Airways partnered with the ‘Art for Tomorrow’ conference, which took place in Venice, Italy, from June 5 to 7, 2024. This collaboration aligns with the airline's resumption of daily direct flights to Venice starting on June 12, 2024.

The conference, organized by The Democracy & Culture Foundation, was held at the Palazzo Diedo and featured the theme ‘Imperfect Beauty.’ Sessions were moderated by New York Times journalists and included notable speakers such as Philippe Starck, Giulia Andreani, Sean Scully, and John Akomfrah, who discussed how the arts can unite and heal.

Currently, Qatar Airways flies to over 170 destinations worldwide. With the addition of Venice, the airline will operate routes to three Italian cities, including Milan and Rome, reinforcing its commitment to the European market.

Passengers traveling from Hamad International Airport in Doha, which has been awarded the title of the Best Airport in the world by Skytrax, will soon have direct access to Venice. Known for its scenic canals, historic squares, and stunning palazzos, Venice remains one of the most iconic travel destinations globally.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group, expressed pride in sponsoring the conference and excitement about the resumed flights. He emphasized the importance of celebrating cultural heritage and preserving it for future generations, while also highlighting the strategic significance of expanding services to Venice.

This development not only strengthens Qatar Airways' presence in Europe but also enhances travel opportunities for passengers eager to explore Venice's rich cultural landscape.
