Marriott International is preparing to broaden its reach throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, with 30 additional hotels planned for launch in 2024. The corporation, which already overseas 528 establishments in this part of the world, has another 183 under construction across 37 nations and territories. The rapid growth is indicative of the increased demand in a range of accommodation options, from economy tourists to those seeking luxury.

Part and parcel of this growth, All-inclusive resorts are becoming more popular in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. These accommodations, which package stays, meals, and entertainment into a seamless experience, are becoming increasingly favored by visitors who prioritize ease and fixed pricing for their vacations. Marriott is also beefing up in the urban centers with a new brand City Express where it can give budget, well-situated hotels to corporate and casual travelers.

The company's vision extends past Latin America, with objectives to bring City Express to the United States and Canada. Recognized for its streamlined architecture and economical rates, the brand seeks to bridge an expanding void in the mid-tier hospitality sector. This move is aligned with broader shifts in the industry, as leading hotel groups strive to introduce a greater variety of destinations in response to evolving travel tendencies and financial fluctuations.

For those with a taste for indulgence, new upscale establishments such as The St. Regis Aruba Resort and Salterra, a Luxury Collection hotel, Residences in Turks & Caicos, will soon provide exclusive accommodations. These high-end resorts are set to elevate the attractiveness of their respective locations, further cementing the Caribbean as a distinguished luxury retreat while simultaneously boosting regional tourism industries.

As the global lodging sector continues to evolve, Marriott is adapting by offering both budget-friendly and elite hospitality options. Travelers will benefit from expanded access to quality stays, a broader array of locations, and an extended selection catering to various financial plans.
