Network Rail will carry out vital flood mitigation work at Chipping Sodbury tunnel in Gloucestershire from July 7 to 13, which will impact train travel between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. The project includes raising 200 meters of track by 20 centimeters and clearing drainage channels inside the tunnel to better handle water flow.
