The American low-cost airline Frontier Airlines has added an Airbus A321neo to its fleet, adorned with two colorful parrots named Domingo and Andrea. This vibrant duo not only enhances the livery's aesthetic appeal but also serves an important purpose, symbolizing the airline's collaboration with the Dominican Republic and its commitment to preserving endangered bird species.

The tail of Frontier's aircraft showcases various unique animals, many of which are vulnerable or endangered, making this creative choice quite fitting. Simple Flying discusses the significance of this imagery.

Spanish parrots, or "pericos" in Spanish, are native to the island of Hispaniola.

Domingo symbolizes the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, while Andrea is named after a prominent scientist who advocates for the preservation of these magnificent birds and their habitat.

Frontier Airlines takes pride in its collaboration with the Dominican Republic and provides flights from Santo Domingo and Punta Cana to numerous cities in the United States.

"We are thrilled to introduce this new aircraft that pays tribute to the precious Hispaniola Parakeets and our esteemed partner, the Dominican Republic. Our mission is to raise awareness about endangered species across North America," stated Tyree Squires, Vice President of Marketing for Frontier Airlines.
