FMO Adds Fuerteventura and Rhodes to Summer Flights
Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) has introduced its summer 2026 schedule with two additional destinations and several service improvements across the terminal. The new timetable includes flights to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands and Rhodes in Greece, operated by LEAV Aviation up to twice per week using an Airbus A320 based at the airport. The airline will also continue offering connections to Heraklion, with Mallorca planned for the autumn season.
Flights to Antalya on the Turkish Riviera and Mallorca remain among the most frequent services, with up to seven departures per day to Antalya and up to five daily flights to the Balearic island. Crete continues to appear regularly in the schedule during peak season. Ryanair has expanded its presence at FMO and now serves six destinations, including Alicante, Corfu, London Stansted, Málaga, Mallorca and Zadar.
Connections to Pristina also remain available, linking north-west Germany with the capital of Kosovo. For longer journeys, Lufthansa operates up to four daily flights to Munich, providing onward access to a wider European and intercontinental network. Airport representatives note that the summer timetable reflects steady demand for Mediterranean leisure travel, alongside routes that support visiting friends, family and business links across different regions.

These routes make it easier to reach Mediterranean islands, coastal resorts and southern European cities without needing to depart from larger airports further away. Regular flights to Turkey, Spain and Greece allow more choice of travel dates. Flights via Munich also open access to destinations outside Europe.
Alongside the route network, Münster/Osnabrück Airport has introduced updates aimed at improving the travel experience. Parking areas have been modernised, including upgraded lighting, and additional self-check-in counters are now available for selected airlines. Changes in gate areas include new vending options for food and drinks. Together, the expanded timetable and practical improvements reflect gradual adjustments designed to support smoother journeys during the busy summer season.
