CroisiEurope unveils latest offering: a captivating hotel barge cruise. Departing from the picturesque city of Ghent and concluding in the charming town of Halle, this six-night adventure promises to travelers rich cultural tapestry and culinary delights of Belgium.

Setting sail in April 2025, this groundbreaking itinerary marks CroisiEurope's inaugural hotel barge cruise outside of France. Travelers will meander through a series of captivating destinations, including the historic towns of Bruges, Oudenaarde, Péronnes-Lez-Antoing, Mons, Strépy-Thieu, and Brussels.

One of the standout attractions of this journey is the awe-inspiring Strépy-Thieu boat lift, the world's second-largest boat lift boasting a staggering 73.15-meter incline. Additionally, guests will marvel at the engineering marvel that is the Inclined Plane of Ronquières, a monumental structure facilitating the passage of barges along a 1432-meter ramp with a 68-meter ascent.

Travelers will partake in a myriad of enriching experiences, including guided tours of Bruges, Oudenaarde, and Brussels, a visit to a traditional Bruges brewery complete with a tantalizing tasting session, and an exploration of Oudenaarde's distillery to uncover the secrets of jenever, gin, and whiskey production, followed by a delectable tasting.

For those with a penchant for gastronomy, a culinary odyssey awaits in Mons, where guests will embark on a flavorsome journey through the city's culinary delights, punctuated by a tasting of local delicacies. History enthusiasts will be enthralled by a visit to the Château de Beloiel, hailed as the Belgian Versailles, where they'll discover a treasure trove of art, literature, and impeccably manicured gardens.

Wine aficionados will rejoice in a guided tour of the acclaimed Chant d'Éole vineyard, renowned for its exquisite sparkling wines crafted using traditional methods. And no visit to Belgium would be complete without indulging in the art of chocolate-making, with a hands-on demonstration and, of course, a delectable tasting session.

The MS Raymonde, the vessel for this extraordinary voyage, boasts 11 spacious and comfortable cabins, each with en-suite facilities and scenic views. Onboard amenities include a restaurant, lounge bar, sun deck, and a relaxation area complete with a rejuvenating Jacuzzi. With a dedicated crew of six, including a talented chef whipping up gourmet delights, guests can expect unparalleled service throughout their journey.

Operating from April to October 2025, this unforgettable experience starts at just 2,815€ per person, inclusive of all meals and beverages onboard, guided excursions, complimentary use of bicycles, and port fees. Fly/cruise packages are also available, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for guests from around the globe.
