Bangkok’s Anantara Siam Hotel will host the 25th World Gourmet Festival from 22 through 28 September 2025. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the festival is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand along with several international partners. Culinary professionals from across the globe will come together, emphasizing Bangkok’s role as a key centre for international cuisine.

This year’s edition brings together a broader range of talent and experiences than ever before. The 2025 programme is expected to be the most extensive in the festival’s history, featuring:

  • 16 Michelin-starred restaurants with a combined 22 stars;
  • Green Star chefs recognised for sustainable practices;
  • Participants from The World’s 50 Best and Asia’s 50 Best lists;
  • Collaborative dinners, individual tasting menus, and cultural exchanges led by chefs such as Eric Vildgaard, Mathias and Thomas Sühring, Thitid "Ton" Tassanakajohn, and Vaughan Mabee.

Travellers can experience a broad range of high-level culinary events in Bangkok without the need to travel elsewhere. Bangkok will act as a temporary centre for global culinary exchange, allowing visitors to explore a variety of international cuisines alongside Thailand’s own evolving food scene. The festival brings together experiences that normally would require travel to several countries, giving visitors access in one city.

Beyond the nightly dining events, visitors can attend panels, workshops, and wine and mixology sessions. Attendees can use these activities to explore global gastronomy, including trends, sustainability, and innovative cooking approaches. Costs for attending the festival range between THB 1,800 and THB 18,500, making it accessible for both everyday visitors and those interested in higher-end experiences.

Over its 25 years, the World Gourmet Festival has contributed to shaping Bangkok as a destination for gastronomic travel. The 2025 edition demonstrates that culinary gatherings can enrich a visit by connecting travellers with local culture. Travellers attending the festival in 2025 can pair world-class culinary experiences with a closer look at Thailand’s culture and hospitality.
