The Radisson Hotel Group, an international chain, announced that its Radisson Blu Hotel in Florence marks the chain’s first establishment in the Tuscan capital. The new place is not far from Florence's historic center and has views of the city and the hills around it. The project is part of Radisson's plan to grow in Italy. It will build a big, multi-purpose hotel that will serve both business travelers and tourists coming to Florence.

The property includes 304 guest rooms and suites, built in a modern style emphasizing functionality and space. Amenities feature a fitness area, outdoor pool, spa, and tennis courts. Families can take advantage of adjoining rooms and dedicated play areas for children. The hotel embraces a minimalist design with open, uncluttered interiors, providing guests with comfort and practicality whether their stay is brief or extended. The hotel is designed to appeal to both leisure travelers and attendees of events.

The hotel offers one of Florence’s most extensive conference facilities, covering approximately 1,500 square meters. It includes 15 adaptable meeting rooms and a main ballroom capable of hosting up to 450 guests. Each meeting space is fitted with up-to-date audiovisual technology and hybrid options, designed to provide a seamless and interactive experience for guests attending either in person or remotely. The layout of the conference rooms is designed to make the hotel an attractive choice for congresses, seminars, and international corporate events in central Italy.

The hotel's location allows easy access to Florence's most famous sights, such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. Not far from the hotel, in the Oltrarno district, you will find workshops of local artisans, antique shops, and cozy cafes that reflect the lively and creative character of the city. Being close to major transport routes, the hotel lets guests conveniently access both Florence’s historic center and its quieter neighborhoods, making city travel simple and efficient.

Guests can explore the Tuscan countryside without straying far from the hotel, as it is located near the Chianti wine region and the hills of Fiesole. Being near both city attractions and picturesque countryside paths makes it a great choice for travelers who want a mix of experiences, even during a brief visit. The hotel’s launch follows current trends in Florence’s hospitality sector. International chains are adding more rooms to meet the steady recovery of tourism and the growing need for accommodations that can serve multiple purposes.
