Toulouse Gains Direct Link To Luxembourg With Volotea Return
Volotea has launched a direct connection between Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and Luxembourg, marking the return of a route linking southern France with one of Europe’s key institutional centres. The inaugural flight operated last week, restoring direct access between the two cities. The airline had first announced plans for the route last summer.
Flights operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays until March. From May, services move to Thursdays and Sundays, reflecting a seasonal change in the timetable. The schedule allows both short stays and longer visits, while restoring a direct air link between Toulouse and Luxembourg without requiring connections through larger European hubs.

The city’s UNESCO-listed old town, historic fortifications and compact walkable centre sit alongside major European institutions. Short breaks linking Toulouse’s southern atmosphere with Luxembourg’s historic quarters become simpler, while onward rail connections open access to neighbouring Belgium, Germany and eastern France.
The addition reflects steady growth at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, where Volotea continues strengthening regional European links after more than a decade of operations. Direct routes such as this reduce reliance on major transfer airports and shorten journey times. Passengers travelling between Toulouse and Luxembourg can now fly directly instead of connecting through larger European airports.
