Poland’s Baltic Mega-Hotel Opens with a Catch

A huge five-star hotel is opening in Pobierowo on Poland’s Baltic Sea coast, bringing a major new resort to a town with around 1,000 residents. Hotel Gołębiewski Pobierowo has 13 floors, covers 180,000 square metres and is planned to include 1,240 rooms. The beach is around 150 metres away.
The hotel belongs to the Gołębiewski chain and is being described as the largest hotel on the Baltic Sea. Rooms measure around 50 square metres, many have balconies, and some offer sea views. Demand appears strong already, with more than 2,000 bookings reportedly made within the first 24 hours.
What guests should check before booking
The main issue is that the hotel is opening in stages.
Key details include:
- 1,240 rooms planned in total
- Around 500 rooms completed for opening
- Standard rooms from around €350 per night
- Suites up to around €900 per night
- Beach around 150 metres from the hotel
- Some attractions may not be ready at launch
Guests should confirm room type, sea view and available facilities for their exact dates.
The hotel is expected to include a large outdoor pool, water park, indoor pools, whirlpools, a children’s area, saunas, slides and a salt grotto. Other planned facilities include climbing walls, a cinema, bowling alley, supermarket, volleyball courts, a disco and children’s entertainment, although it is not yet clear whether everything will be ready immediately.
The opening could make Pobierowo more visible for Baltic Sea holidays, especially for families looking for a beach resort with pools and entertainment in one place. Still, early guests should book carefully rather than assume the full resort is finished. The safest move is to check which rooms, views and attractions are confirmed before paying.
