Ireland will pay you $90 thousand if you move to one of its islands
Ireland has announced a plan to revive more than 20 idyllic islands off its west coast, including Inis Mor, whose breathtaking landscape may be recognisable from the Hollywood hit The Banshees of Inisherin, as well as the 10 Irish-speaking Gaeltacht Islands.
People who are ready to move there and start rebuilding empty or abandoned houses are promised $90,000, CNN reports.
Potential residents of the island should be aware that although there are no restrictions on who can buy property in Ireland, owning a home does not guarantee you the right to live there.
The government website has the latest information on the country's policy in this regard and the existing redevelopment scheme.
Local authorities are already developing a list of houses that will be included in the programme for which grants will be provided.
