Different cities around the world attract numerous tourists with incredible offerings. Among them are the captivating realms of book cities, where history and literature harmoniously blend. One such city is Lilleputthammer, Norway.

This city is renowned as a family adventure park designed on a miniature scale. Its main attraction is a smaller replica of the main street that meticulously recreates the atmosphere of the 1930s with authentic house designs, as reported by News Bytes.

Right in the city center, you'll find the Children's City of Books, comprising six separate houses. These houses feature novels categorized by age, providing visitors with an engaging literary experience.

The city of Bredevoort in the Netherlands began actively transforming itself into a book destination back in the 1990s to rejuvenate the central parts of the community. Today, booksellers operate shops, most of which offer used and rare books. A monthly book fair on Bradworth's central square attracts additional vendors every third Saturday of the month.

Another renowned book locale is Paju in South Korea. In Paju Book City, the production, publication, sale, and promotion of Korean books are the primary specializations. Presently, Paju is home to around 250 publishers and 10,000 employees. It also boasts a miniature railroad that runs around the premises of the children's bookstore.

The Italian city of Montereggio has a rich history. Interestingly, the very first bookstore here opened its doors in the late 1490s. Since then, itinerant booksellers have been journeying to fairs and markets in central and northern Italy, carrying large wicker baskets filled with books. Even today, various book fairs and literary events can be found in this historic city.

Another renowned book town is Óbidos in Portugal. Situated north of Lisbon, it is a picturesque old hilltop village with a wall encircling a small medieval center adorned with cobblestone streets and traditional houses. Meanwhile, many shops have expanded their offerings to include books. Hence, adjacent art galleries sell books about art, and the organic food market features shelves of cookbooks.
