New Coastal Hotel Opens in St Julian’s, Expanding Visitor Options in Malta

Radisson Individuals has officially opened Cavalieri Art Hotel on Balluta Bay in St Julian’s, Malta. The hotel comprises 254 rooms and suites, three dining venues, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and multiple event spaces. It is located along the coastline within St Julian’s city area. The opening adds to the number of hospitality facilities in the district and contributes to the broader local tourism infrastructure.

The hotel features contemporary architectural design with distinct functional areas:

  • Dining facilities: three separate venues with indoor and outdoor seating
  • Pools and spa: dedicated zones for indoor and outdoor pools and spa services
  • Event spaces: rooms equipped for various types of gatherings
  • Layout: functional areas integrated into the overall structure of the building

Close to the hotel, Balluta Bay offers spots for swimming, strolling, and enjoying time along the shoreline. Spinola Point pier has a pedestrian path along the waterfront suitable for walking and photography. Portomaso Marina provides docking spaces and designated areas for water-based activities, allowing visitors to reach maritime features located within the immediate surrounding area.

Within walking distance, visitors can reach St George’s Bay, which offers a shoreline with sand and several cafés nearby. The Balluta Bay promenade is used for walking, jogging, and cycling. A short walk leads to Paceville, where restaurants, bars, and entertainment options are available. Both coastal spots and urban locations are within easy walking distance of the hotel, requiring little additional travel.
