Croatia 2024: Tips and Entry Rules
Affordable, atmospheric, and delicious - Croatia offers tourists a wonderful vacation on the Adriatic Sea. This country borders Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has a maritime border with Italy in the Adriatic Sea.
There are many lakes, rivers, and waterfalls to explore, as well as a delicious local cuisine known for seafood dishes, including squid ink risotto. The UK government has compiled tips to help tourists visiting Croatia this year, as reported by Surrey Live.
Passport rules:
- The passport must have been issued less than 10 years before the date of arrival (passports issued after October 1, 2018, are valid for only 10 years, but additional months may be added for passports issued before October 1, 2018).
- The expiration date must be at least 3 months after the date of departure.
This year, checks have been introduced at the border with Slovenia, which will be valid for 6 months. Therefore, tourists need to confirm their arrival and provide information about their room reservation, have travel insurance, a return ticket, and enough money for accommodation.
