Bremen Opens Winter Flights to Canary Islands Early

Flights from Bremen Airport to the Canary Islands for winter 2026/27 are now open for booking. From November 2026, SundAir will operate regular services to Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife several times a week. The schedule runs until April 2027, covering the full winter season, including the Easter holiday period next year.
The Canary Islands continue to draw visitors in winter thanks to stable weather and beach conditions. The islands lie off the north-west coast of Africa and are regularly used as departure points for cruise routes. This keeps demand for flights from European cities at a steady level, especially during colder months when travellers look for warmer destinations.
Flight Schedule from Bremen
- Fuerteventura: from 2 November 2026, Mondays and Saturdays
- Gran Canaria: from 5 November 2026, Thursdays and Sundays
- Tenerife: from 6 November 2026, Fridays, with an extra Wednesday flight added from 16 December
Flights run several times a week, giving more fixed options when choosing travel dates. This helps when planning both shorter stays and longer trips, and also allows better alignment with cruise departures that use the islands as a starting point during the winter season. The set days also make it easier to compare fares and pick dates without relying on last-minute availability.
Bookings are already open, so trips can be arranged in advance, including around school holidays. A set timetable across three destinations gives a clearer view of available dates and reduces the need to rely on a small number of seasonal flights, especially for those leaving colder parts of northern Europe in winter.
