New Route from Seattle Offers Quicker Access to Japan’s Culture and Nature
Beginning May 12, 2025, Alaska Airlines now operates daily nonstop flights from Seattle-Tacoma International to Narita International in Tokyo. The new route, a collaboration with Hawaiian Airlines utilizing Airbus A330 aircraft, offers a nonstop option that skips layovers at other U.S. airports, making travel faster for passengers. This new service offers a faster and more convenient option for travelers, especially between the U.S. and Japan.
Flying from Seattle to Tokyo is faster than from other West Coast cities like Los Angeles or San Francisco, thanks to how close Seattle is to Japan. Travelers, whether on business or vacation, can enjoy a quicker, more straightforward journey with this direct route. With fewer layovers and direct access, passengers can now more easily plan their trips to Japan, whether for work or pleasure.
