Passengers who love rail travel will not regret choosing a trip to the picturesque places of the Great West. Despite the high price of up to 18 thousand pounds for 7 days, a trip on board the Royal Scotsman is very popular among UK travellers.

Tourists start their route in the Scottish countryside. Express.co.uk writes about the train stops and reviews of this route.

The Royal Scotsman starts the trip in Edinburgh and then goes to cities such as bustling Dundee and seaside cities such as Kyle of Lochalsh, Keith, Boat of Garten, Spey Bridge, Orchy Bridge and Kilmarnock.

During the trip, passengers can see many exciting things, such as the romantic Silver Sands of Moray and the Isle of Bute.

The railway company's website states, "Begin your adventure at Edinburgh Waverley station and board the Royal Scotsman for a luxury rail journey on arguably the most scenic route in Britain. Legendary tales, majestic landscapes and living Scottish traditions await you."

Fans of such an expensive vacation on the Royal Scotsman train leave positive reviews on the TripAdvisor travel site, where they emphasize this luxury.

"Everything on the train was first class. Our cabin, Spa A, was conveniently located for the dining cars and the lounge, had plenty of storage space, and was well laid out."

"The food on board was excellent and well presented. The off-train excursions were interesting and informative."

"As for the staff on board, they were amazing. Absolutely first class."

What is known about the Royal Scotsman route

Belmond's prestigious Royal Scotsman train was first launched in 1985. Its luxurious coaches can accommodate 40 passengers.

Sleeping compartments with private bathrooms equipped with showers and hot water create unprecedented comfort and the aura of a luxury train.

In addition to the trip itself, tourists can go on an excursion to Moray Firth and visit the Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh. A variety of onboard entertainment is also offered, including traditional festivities, evening entertainment, and formal dinners served by your own steward.
