IHG Hotels & Resorts Introduces 12 Unique Properties to Vignette Collection in 2024
IHG Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to announce the debut of its inaugural Vignette Collection hotel in the UK. The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection marks the inception of 12 exceptional properties worldwide set to join IHG’s newest luxury & lifestyle brand this year.
The Vignette Collection embodies a selection of hand-picked hotels, each offering exclusive experiences ranging from boutique townhouses nestled in city centers to serene beachfront retreats. Among the anticipated openings this year is the Shanghai Snow World Hotel, set within the world's largest alpine-themed indoor ski park.
The Vignette Collection brand was unveiled by IHG Hotels & Resorts in August 2021, with Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley inaugurating the collection in December of the same year. Presently, there are 11 operational Vignette Collection hotels worldwide, with an additional 23 in various stages of development. Rooted in individuality, curiosity, and experiential luxury, Vignette Collection properties are united by a shared commitment to sustainable and responsible travel practices.

For example, TH8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort collaborates with the Dibba Bay Oyster Reef Creation Project by repurposing and recycling waste oyster shells, while Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok offers internship opportunities to underprivileged youth, thereby contributing to a brighter future.
Furthermore, Memorable Rituals serve as a distinctive hallmark of the Vignette Collection, connecting guests with the cultural fabric of each hotel. For instance, at Convent Square Lisbon, guests can pay homage to Portugal’s tea heritage by crafting their own blends in the hotel’s cloister. Similarly, at Yours Truly DC in Washington, guests can curate the soundtrack to their stay from the hotel’s lobby library, enhancing their experience through the power of music.
