Hyatt Centric Anjuna Goa to Open in Town Center, Bringing New Stay Option to Anjuna

Work has already begun on building a new hotel right in the middle of Anjuna, North Goa, and it’s set to open its doors to guests in the early months of 2027. The project will operate under the Hyatt Centric brand and is being developed by Deventure Hotel and Resorts Private Limited. Nile Hospitality has been confirmed as the hotel’s management partner. The property will include 150 rooms and be located within the town’s central coastal area.

The hotel is located in a part of Anjuna where essential tourist infrastructure already exists. Its surroundings include a variety of public services and active streets frequently used by both visitors and locals. Within walking distance, travelers will find:

• Public beach access with local cafes and seating areas
• Street markets that operate daily or weekly with food, clothes, and crafts
• Convenience shops and rental outlets for scooters or bicycles
• Live music venues and casual evening gathering spots

The location places the hotel within a functioning town center, not in a separate or newly developed resort zone.

In the same area is the Anjuna Flea Market, which operates weekly and has done so since the 1970s. Vendors offer handmade items, vintage clothing, local spices, and other goods across a wide open field. A short distance away is Curlies, one of Anjuna’s best-known beach venues that has long attracted attention for its live music and food. These places are established parts of the neighborhood’s tourism character.

Within a few minutes’ walk from the construction site is Anjuna Beach, known for its rocky shoreline, waves, and beachside cafés. Also nearby is Artjuna, a multi-use space combining a café, yoga studio, and artisan courtyard that hosts small community events. Both locations are situated in central Anjuna and remain active throughout the tourist season with a regular presence of both visitors and locals.

The opening of this hotel adds another permanent accommodation option in Anjuna that follows clear regulations. Unlike seasonal guesthouses or informal rentals that may stop operating after peak months, this site will remain consistently available. Its presence also illustrates how more travel infrastructure is now being built directly in busy town areas instead of being placed further out or in isolated resort zones.
