New Summer Flights Make Jerez and Pula Easier to Reach from the UK

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have launched new summer 2025 flight routes connecting the UK with Jerez in Spain and Pula in Croatia. Jet2 will run exclusive direct flights from Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds Bradford, with schedules that vary by route. A new route to Pula from East Midlands Airport is scheduled for summer 2026, while flights from London Stansted to Jerez will also begin that year as Jet2 continues to expand its European network.
The new routes respond to growing demand for seasonal leisure travel. Flights to Jerez are set to run until late October, while services to Pula will operate twice a week through to mid-October. Direct connections are intended to reduce transfer times and streamline journeys during the peak summer months, based on internal scheduling assessments and market trends.
As we commence our biggest ever summer programme, we are thrilled to see our inaugural flights to Jerez and Pula take off. Customers and independent travel agents have been booking getaways to these stunning regions in their numbers.
Jerez is located in Spain’s Andalusia region and is known for its sherry production, flamenco music, and landmarks such as the Alcázar of Jerez. The Costa de la Luz, just a short trip away, offers sandy shores and fresh local seafood. The region combines cultural, historical, and natural sites suitable for a range of visitors, including those interested in regional heritage and environmental features.
Pula lies on Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula and contains preserved Roman architecture, including an amphitheatre and old town centre. The area around Pula offers coastal towns and countryside perfect for hiking, water sports, and outdoor exploration. The region is also noted for its local agricultural products and culinary traditions, which reflect long-standing historical influences and local production methods.

Overall, the new routes improve transport links between the UK and selected destinations in southern Europe. The new flights give travellers more flexibility, whether planning a weekend escape or an extended trip. Transport analysts suggest that the move aligns with current air travel trends across the region.
