Every year, millions of people around the world seek a better life in other countries. Often, moving does bring the desired result.

At the same time, there is a rating of countries for immigration where people get the most benefits. And Canada is among the leaders, as it is constantly included in global rankings of the safest countries to live in, according to TripZilla.

At the same time, it is also one of the easiest countries to migrate to. This is also due to the fact that Canada has a multicultural population. This country is well known for its friendly immigration policy, which offers a variety of paths for foreigners who want to make the big move.

In Canada in particular, the points-based Express Entry program is extremely popular, targeting highly skilled individuals with extensive experience in their field. Some may also be eligible for the Provincial Nominee Program, Atlantic Immigrant Program, Self-Employed Visa, or Startup Visa. If you already have relatives in the country, you can enter the country through family sponsorship.

Mexico is known for its sun-drenched beaches, colorful neighborhoods, and delicious cuisine. At the same time, it is worth remembering that it is relatively easy to migrate to Mexico, especially if you plan to retire there.

So, to apply for permanent residence in Mexico, you must provide proof of financial means. For retirees, this means proving that you have an average monthly balance of at least $107,000 in investments or bank accounts over the past 12 months. In addition, you can also show that you have had a steady monthly income of at least USD 1,620 for the past six months.

It should also be borne in mind that temporary residence visa holders are also eligible for permanent residence after living in Mexico for four consecutive years.

At the same time, foreign nationals wishing to apply for naturalization must reside in Mexico for at least five years. This period of residence can be reduced to two years if you are a native of a Latin American country; if you are applying through a Mexican spouse or child; or if you have provided a useful service that contributes to the development of culture, art, sports, business, or other areas of Mexico.

In addition to proof of legal residence, you must also be able to speak Spanish. Expect to also demonstrate your knowledge of Mexican history and culture to obtain citizenship in Mexico.

Australia also attracts millions of immigrants. The main types of visas available include permanent family visa, permanent work visa, or permanent business or investor visa. If none of these are suitable, you can also try to get visas for retirees, former residents, global talent, or refugees.

In order to apply for the Australian Skilled Independent Visa, you will need to pass an eligibility assessment. However, the Skilled Independent Visa will allow you to live, work and study anywhere in the country. It also allows you to enroll in free government healthcare, sponsor relatives visiting Australia, and apply for citizenship upon eligibility.

Germany has long been considered one of the best countries in Europe for immigrants. Thanks to the Skilled Worker Immigration Act, Germany has become one of the easiest countries to immigrate to, especially if you are considering Europe as your future home.

The new legislation allows skilled professionals with vocational or academic training to work in Germany or to seek employment in their field of expertise. However, these qualifications must be recognized by the German authorities. In addition, candidates must have at least an A2 level of German and have the means to support themselves during their job search.

Qualified specialists who have held a temporary residence permit for at least four years can obtain a settlement permit, also called a permanent residence permit. Meanwhile, German citizenship can be obtained by a person who has been legally residing in Germany for at least eight years. You must also have the means to support yourself and your dependents, as well as sufficient knowledge of the German language at the B1 level.

Another popular country, New Zealand offers immigrants a healthy work-life balance, low crime rate, universal healthcare and a happy social environment. A skilled migrant resident visa allows professionals to easily live, work and study in New Zealand.

At the same time, self-employed applicants seeking to start their own business in New Zealand can apply for an Entrepreneur Resident Visa instead. Depending on your country of origin, you may also have other options.

Finland attracts many people due to its high standard of living. However, to apply for a work-based residence permit in Finland, you need to choose the right residence permit application depending on your profession. Finland Application Finder will help you choose the program that best suits your needs.

Persons who have been living in Finland for four or more consecutive years can apply for permanent residence.

As it turned out, Spain is one of the best countries in Europe for migration. Spain offers the easiest process for fast-track citizenship for those who want to immigrate to its warm and sunny shores. Please note that you will also have to pass a language exam - if you plan to migrate to Spain, you better start learning Spanish as soon as possible.

As citizens of other non-EU countries can still apply for permanent residence after five years of residence in Spain. National visa options are available for students, employees, and the self-employed, among others.

It's no secret that Panama is one of the easiest countries to immigrate to. The Friendly Nations Visa allows citizens of 22 "friendly countries" to apply for a fast-track permanent residence permit in Panama.

At the same time, foreign nationals can also obtain a residence permit by working for a Panamanian company in a professional position. After two years of temporary residence, you can apply for permanent residence in the country.

Another way to obtain permanent residence is to obtain a Panama Retirement Visa. With this visa, foreigners over the age of 18 can apply for legal residence in Panama if they can prove that they receive a lifetime guaranteed pension or a monthly income of at least $1,000 per month.

If you are interested in migrating to Portugal, a good command of the Portuguese language will set you apart from other candidates applying for jobs. Portugal is currently in need of highly qualified workers in the fields of healthcare, information technology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Even without a passport from an EU country, Portugal offers one of the easiest ways to immigrate to Europe with a number of work and study visa programs. Similar to Spain's immigration policy, Portugal allows you to apply for permanent residence after a legal stay in the country for five years.

Thailand is one of the best countries in Southeast Asia for migration. To obtain permanent residence in Thailand, foreigners must meet the requirements of one of the following categories: investment (minimum 3,000,000 local baht), work or business, or family.

However, the naturalization process in Thailand can take some time. To obtain citizenship, foreigners must have permanent resident status in the country for 10 consecutive years.
