Ho Chi Minh City to Welcome New Hotel Focused on Local Culture and Central Location

IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to open a new hotel in Ho Chi Minh City under its Vignette Collection brand later this year. Partnering with LCK Hospitality Company Limited, the 52-room hotel will become the brand’s first in Ho Chi Minh City and second throughout Vietnam. Positioned downtown, the hotel grants convenient access to a range of cultural and historic landmarks, underscoring its link to the local community.
The hotel’s location provides guests with:
- Access to several antique shops and art galleries that highlight the area’s cultural scene
- Proximity to major city landmarks within less than one kilometre
- Easy connectivity to important urban attractions in the central district
This setting allows travellers to explore the city’s historic core and vibrant neighborhoods with ease.
We are excited to keep growing and strengthening our leading position in Luxury & Lifestyle hospitality in Vietnam by introducing our Vignette Collection brand to Ho Chi Minh City, in partnership with LCK Hospitality Company Limited.
Guests will find several notable spots within easy reach of the hotel. Nguyen Hue Walking Street is a vibrant pedestrian area popular for evening gatherings, street performances, and a variety of dining options. Close to the hotel, Bach Dang Wharf Park provides a riverfront area where visitors can stroll and unwind with views of the Saigon River. The Sky Deck at Bitexco Financial Tower provides visitors with extensive views of the city’s skyline from a prominent height.
Nearby Saigon Garden features an inviting blend of cafés, stores, and greenery, providing a welcoming space for both rest and social interaction. Visitors might consider visiting Taka Plaza, known for its affordable shopping and selection of Vietnamese fashion items. The Café Apartment, located close by, shows the transformation of old apartments into a lively area filled with cafés and retail boutiques.
The launch of this hotel is part of a broader movement to expand the variety of lodging options in Ho Chi Minh City’s hospitality market. For travellers, it represents an opportunity to stay in a centrally located hotel that integrates elements of local culture and design. This move highlights the growing focus on providing travelers with stays that combine modern comfort and a genuine connection to the local culture in Southeast Asia’s expanding cities.
