Emigration to Spain: expats named two factors that could stop you
Málaga, Spain, has been ranked as one of the best places to relocate in Europe, but not everyone agrees. Some expats have had negative experiences with living in the sunny country.
Among the nuances of living in Spain are excessive heat in summer and unstable Internet connections. According to Express, negative reviews about emigration to the resort destination can be found online.
"It is very hot here in summer. It's ridiculously hot. You will need an air conditioner, and sincerely hope it doesn't break down. I would not want to be here in the summer," the expats shared on their YouTube channel AmeliaAndJP.
The temperature in Malaga reaches 38°C in summer, which may seem too hot for many people, especially for foreigners who have previously lived in northern countries.
Expats also complained that internet problems make it difficult to communicate and work, even in coworking spaces.
"The internet is very slow. We were really shocked by how slow it is in Spain," expats share their experience.
Despite these shortcomings, Malaga still has many advantages, such as friendliness to foreigners, affordable prices, and comfortable conditions.
As previously reported by TravelWise, tourists planning a trip to Spain have been warned about new rules regarding accommodation.
