Direct flights between Kazakhstan and Cyprus will be launched
Direct flights between Kazakhstan and Cyprus may soon be launched.
Yesterday, the countries signed a memorandum of understanding on air services, allowing designated carriers from each party to operate up to 7 flights per week, as reported by the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
This agreement grants Kazakhstani airlines the privilege to conduct transportation to cities in the Republic of Cyprus, namely Larnaca and Paphos, while Cypriot airlines can operate flights to cities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including Astana and Almaty.
The memorandum also allows for the multiple designation of carriers from each country.
The signing of this memorandum is expected to enhance economic, business, and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Cyprus.
As TravelWise reported, it is expected that over the next month the flow of tourists from Israel to Cyprus will recover to last year's level. This was announced on Wednesday by the chairman of the Association of Travel Agencies of Cyprus (Acta), Haris Papacharalambos.
