In addition, the French national airline will act as a partner of sporting events, serving delegations, athletes and fans. It is reported by Travel And Tour World.
It is noted that the company plans to introduce changes on the occasion of the Olympics by the beginning of summer, namely:
- resume daily flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota;
- launch a new direct route connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle with Phoenix, Arizona. Flights are planned to be operated 3 times a week on a Boeing 787-9 aircraft;
- expand the existing flight to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, with an increase in the number of flights from 3 to 7 per week.
In addition, on the occasion of the annual Cannes Film Festival, Air France will operate 2 special flights between Los Angeles (USA) and Nice (France) using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
It is reported that the planned increase in long-haul capacity will be implemented thanks to the new Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350-900 passenger cabins, which will carry passengers in business, premium economy and economy classes on additional summer routes.
